I was at the Baby & Toddler expo with a friend recently and a lovely woman called Sharyn came and sat next to me with her grandson Henry. She asked me how old my son was and told me that her daughter Caroline had a stall at the Expo selling Attipas shoes and would I be interested. Her grandson was wearing the shoes and when I saw them I became very interested indeed!

They looked so cool, original and comfortable! I was looking for a pair of shoes for bub that managed to stay on and look funky at the same time and these fit the bill perfectly! I rushed to the stall and bought two pairs and my friend bought a pair too. Over the next couple of days we both kept commenting on how much we loved them and how easy they were to put on and stay on. So much so that I contacted Caroline and asked her if she would be interested in joining me for a giveaway for my lovely readers and she kindly agreed!

Some info on Attipas Shoes:

Attipas toddler shoes are as light as a sock but more supportive than a pre-walker, these functional shoes have been ergonomically designed to support toddlers’ first steps and thereafter.

Founder and mum, Caroline Africh said, “I discovered Attipas while I was travelling with my son Henry, who at the time was on the verge walking and his favourite new trick was pulling his shoes off at any opportunity. After spotting these more sock-like shoes I thought it was worth a try and in 10 days he was walking – plus these ones stay on!”
Caroline’s son Henry is the face of Attipas Australia and isn’t he fantastic!

Attipas ‘shoe-socks’, as they are commonly called, have been specially designed to help toddlers walk based on seven years of research and development. The five key benefits of wearing Attipas shoes include:

1.       Convenience: non-slip and machine-washable
2.       Breathable: fine holes that release heat
3.       Big Toe Box: allows free toe movement to improve cognitive and motor development Safety
4.       Non-toxic: to prevent exposure to potentially harmful materials
5.       Lightweight: light and flexible, just like socks!

Attipas shoes make a great gift to suit every occasion, from baby showers to birthdays! Available in red, blue, sky, lime, pink, purple, grey, rainbow, red polka dot and white/pink polka dot, there is a colour to suit both boys and girls.

  • I saw them at the show. Didn’t really have time to stop and have a look they look interesting. Would love to try them on my daughter. I can’t remember how many times I have lost shoes while walking with her because she keeps pulling them off.

Saw this shoes on Sydney the Baby & Toddler show but no idea how good they are although I love their design. After reading your review, I do really hope get one for my little boy, because I love shoes which are easy to put on and stay on.Thank you for the review and giveaway 🙂

Am very impressed by their concept of designing shoes for babies that mimics walking barefoot, love to try it for my daughter’s sibling soon to arrive.

My little girl has sensory and muscle tone problems and only currently weight bears wearing shoes. At 10 months, I wonder how great the certain brands are for her developing little feet and these look like a great choice. I would love to be able to give these a whirl on her little tootsies. 🙂

I would love for my little munchin to rock these stylish kicks

Little Miss 3-4 yrs loves EVERYTHING PINK very hyperactive important that her Attipas shoes are cushioned to protect her ankles feet to help with her balance and injury. Cheers!

  • My lil man at 5 months old. Use to scream when we tried to get him to stand. I knew something was wrong. Taking him to the phsyio he had low muscle tone in his hips and ankles (you could bend his foot right back without him trying to resist). After months of physio. He finally started commando crawling at 10 months old. Only to start pulling himself up at 13 months. He is now able to cruise along the furniture at 17 months and although still very wobbley, we hope he’ll start walking in the next few months. (Long story short..) these would be perfect for his little feet!

I have the perfect little ambassador for your shoes! because of her unusual colouring, my little girl has very blue eye, white skin and white white hair.
Whenever we go out people stare or comment.
Wearing these shoes – she would stand out and so would the shoes!

  • Jessie says:

My little lady needs some shoes that come on and off easily (too many times a day)! These look great, especially for saving little feet from the hot pavement this spring/summer. Thanks for the chance.

  • Because Mammas aren’t the only ones who deserve cute shoes! Besides, there’s so many gorgeous baby girls clothes, but comparatively little available for boys, so it’s great to have some lovely things for baby boys 🙂

  • Why should we win? I dont think we deserve it any more than anyone else entering but I do know how grateful my little angel would be. If I could capture the smile on her face when she gets new shoes I would, thats the only reason I want to win!

I have an 18 month old who was a late walker so I have only recently purchased her first pair of walking shoes! It was an ordeal! I couldn’t work out the shoe sizes, she lost interest after about five minutes and lots of them had features (such as lights) that I found a little unnecessary! They are doing the job in that they go on her feet but they must not breathe at all as she gets very bad sweaty feet whenever she wears them! We would love these breathable shoes. Please help us and stop the sweaty feet!

  • Liz says:

I have a young girl who’s very much like her mum, and loves to have a large range of shoes to choose from. Winning these would be a great addition to the wardrobe.

  • Jelli says:

I should win because my baby doesn’t have any decent flexible shoes to wear, and she’ll be walking any day now. I’ve put shoes on her one time to wear to church, but that’s it. Would LOVE to have these shoes.

  • I have kids, they have feet, they need comfy stay on shoes 🙂
