I am a massive Real Housewives fan so I was already familiar with the Yummie Tummie brand created by RHONY star Heather Thomson. So when I was approached to review a few items from the range I jumped at the chance. I have always wondered about shapewear? I don’t own any and I was quite curious to find out if they worked.
Even though I am slim I still haven’t toned my tum since having bub and I’m actually quite paranoid about it. It doesn’t seem to be going down anytime soon either! I go for regular walks and always wear loose fitting tops. Yummie Tummie have created a range of work out gear for this exact problem. You can look and feel stylish and confident while your working out. I was sent the Joelle tank and Milan leggings (above) and I wear them for my morning walks. They feel so comfortable and luxurious and flatten my tummy perfectly. They are made from cool, compact cotton that slims, smooths and shapes your body while breathing. You can also wear the leggings with an oversize jumper or tee and the tank top with jeans or a skirt. Win, win.
I have been busy with lots of events and photo shoots recently and was grateful to have a bit of support in the tummy department thanks to the Yummie Tummie Pretty Powerful Lavina Bustless Slip and the Nina Shaping Shortie (above). The slip gives you effective shaping from bra bulge through to hips, bottom and thighs with the added bonus of being able to wear your own bra. To be honest I don’t need shaping anywhere else other than my tum but I was thankful of the extra support regardless. The Lavina Bustless Slip accentuates my body and gives me the added confidence to wear clingy dresses even on a bloat day! I wore the Nina Shaping Shortie to a recent photoshoot for That Famous Look. I posted about it here. I love them and will be investing in a few more pairs. They are comfy, seamless and have a high waist to support your tummy with a gentle yummie hug which is exactly what I need! Maybe I won’t be booking those ab workout classes after all! 😉
Are you a fan of shapewear? Will you be giving Yummie Tummie a go?
