What I Wore ~ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia

I am still recovering from the madness that was Fashion Week. Five days of shows, photos, networking and after parties. The who’s who of Australian fashion rocked up to Carriage Works every day dressed head to toe in a dazzling array of outfits.

Designers, fashion bloggers from all over the world, fashion students, models, photographers, industry heads, media and buyers all in one place for one week. What does one wear to an occasion like this? Here’s what I chose..

What I Wore: Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2013

Dorothy Perkins Dress, Chloe Bag, Next Direct heels

Tima Designs Dress, Oxford Belt, Ebiza Clutch, Urban Soul boots

Georgia Osbourne Dress, French Connection leggings, Wanted heels

Hermès Bag

Cotton On top, Cue leggings, RMK heels

I had a ball hanging out with my friends, Jennifer from Fashion Parté, Faith from Raw Fashion Agency, Basile from Mingk, Olimpia, Make-Up Artist from Fashion Parté, Sara from Fashionista Depot and Kristina from Anizoe. I saw some fabulous shows, more on that later!

I met some amazing people including designer Phoenix Keating, Susie from Style Bubble and Ellen Whippy-Knight the Director of Fiji Fashion Week. I also caught up with inspirational bloggers, Nikki from Styling You, and Christina from Hair Romance who gave me a masterclass in blogging 101!

I was absolutely exhausted by the end of it and my feet were killing me, literally. But it was Fashion Week darling and worth all the effort! Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to conserve all my energy for next year!

  • Just SO gorgeous! Loved catching up with you xx

Wow – what a great fashion week YOU had!

I love that you have a mixture of high street fashion (Cotton On, Dorothy Perkins ) with high end fashion (Cue, Hermes) in your outfits – I so love the high-low mixture for a great individual look…

Great post! I miss Dorothy Perkins (used to shop there in London, none near me in my country town..)
