I do love attending Fashion Week but it’s a nightmare figuring out what to wear. This is the most fashionable week of the year in Sydney with stylists, bloggers and models flying in from all over the world. Not to mention seeing local fashion super-bloggers Gary Pepper Girl, Tuula Vintage, Sydney Fashion Blogger, They All Hate Us and Margaret Xhang on a daily basis.
Then there’s the celebrities…Sarah Murdoch, Terry Biviano, Christina Centenera, Rachael Finch, Jesinta Campbell, Jessica Mauboy, Jodi Anasta to name a few. So much style in one place! Phew!
Here’s what I wore for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2014 – Days 2 & 3:

Front row at the Desert Designs show – as you can see I’m a tad excited!
This was my busiest day of the week with 5 shows to attend : Alex Perry, Aurelio Costarello, By Johnny, Desert Designs and Bec & Bridge. Bub Stylista was modelling for Desert Designs so I had to whizz off in the afternoon and pick him up from daycare then get back in time for his shoot (more on that later). I wanted something comfortable and chic so I opted for my new Zara dress with appliqués on the sleeves and snakeskin pumps. If in doubt at Fashion Week wear black!
I only had the Ginger & Smart show to attend in the morning because I had a Dr’s appt in the afternoon so I could relax a bit after yesterday. My friend Jackie (above) is the pattern-maker so it was nice to go along and support her. The show was fabulous, one of my faves. I wore a dress by Achea-Mpong (you can buy it here) and Tony Bianco heels (shop similar here) with a snakeskin clutch from Ebiza in Bali.
So what do you think of my outfit choices? Stay tuned for my fashion wrap-up of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2014 – Days 4 & 5.
