WHAT I WORE: MARKS AND SPENCER MATERNITY CHIC

My bump has fully popped and I’ve reached that what do I wear stage. My jeans don’t fit and I’m not big enough for maternity ones just yet. I’m contemplating getting a belly belt but I haven’t got round to it. So dresses it is! I always wear dresses anyway, I feel much more comfortable in them. Also I don’t have to think too much about my outfit which is exactly what I want right now.

I wore this lovely orange one for a girly lunch this week. I bought it in the sale at Marks and Spencer. Their dresses always fit me so perfectly so even though I’m ordering online I’ve never sent one back. I actually bought this to wear to a wedding but it was too hot on the day. It’s got a little stretch in it so it’s great for Bump Stylista. My only issue was it creased really easily but I got over it.

I paired it with a pair of Kurt Geiger pumps and my old trusty Louis Vuitton bag.

Dressing Bump Stylista is a challenge but I’m really enjoying it!

What to you think of my maternity style?

  • Trusty M & S never lets us down does it? Being able to buy knickers and frocks all under one roof is perfection! Your little bump is adorable xx

I love your maternity style. Totally agree dresses are so much easier when pregnant. I had some great maternityjeans from JeansWest and Just Jeans. I had so much trouble finding “nice” maternity clothes that didn’t make you look like you were wearing a potato sack. I can remember laughing at myself in the change room while trying pair of maternity jeans from Pumpkin Patch. They made me look like a clown. I used to buy things in stretchy material a couple of sizes bigger. I’ll love watching how you dress you bump. Jo xx

    • Ha! I can imagine what those Pumpkin Patch jeans looked like Jo! I have Jeans West maternity jeans, they are great! Will have to check out Jeans West. I haven’t succumbed to maternity shopping just yet. I’m in the stretchy material phase and hope to carry it on for the majority of my pregnancy! Wish me luck. xx
