What I Wore: Maternity Monochrome

I recently spent a day filming with Next and Jeanswest. I’ll be talking through their new ranges and picking out my fave pieces for Mamastylista TV! I can’t wait to share the video with you but in the meantime here’s what I wore.

I haven’t been buying too much maternity wear except for my Jeanswest jeans. I have 4 pairs! I’m wearing the Allie wet look jeans. I had my eye on them for ages but they were sold out. I randomly had a look at the Jeanswest website one day and they were showing a pair in size 8 so I snapped them up immediately! It was meant to be!

I’m also wearing a River Island top with faux leather detailing (sold out). I found it at ASOS and if I could wear it everyday I would. It’s so comfy and stylish too. I absolutely love it! It’s oversized and I probably could have got away with a size 8 but the 10 is fine and there is still room for my ever growing bump!

I’ve broken up the all black outfit with a gorgeous cream blanket jacket I found at ASOS.  It’s my normal size but it’s an oversized coat so it fits over the bump. It means I’ll be able to get wear out of it post-pregnancy too! It’s so annoying buying lots of maternity clothes that you will only wear for a few months.

I’ve paired my outfit with a pair of Urban Soul boots (old – I couldn’t tell you where I bought them) and my Rachel Ruddick Dr’s bag.
