Family Lunch at Criniti's Woolloomooloo

Bub Stylista turned 3 at the weekend so he’s really not my Bub Stylista anymore. I’ll have to think of a new name! We took him out for a family lunch to the Award winning Italian restaurant Criniti’s in Woolloomooloo as part of his weekend birthday activities.

Crinitis is located on Woolloomooloo Wharf, one of my favourite spots in Sydney to eat. It’s leisurely lunch on a whole new level. You could literally sit for hours people watching, taking in the views of the harbour and boats bobbing on the water.

If you are a fan of Italian then you have to make a visit to Criniti’s! The food is amazing, authentic Italian fare at it’s best. For starters we tried the Nonna’s bruschetta with goats cheese, artichokes and roasted capsicum and the popping prawns, salt & pepper prawns wrapped in kataifi pastry with lemon zest aioli. Yes it was as delicious as it sounds.

The pizzas are absolute perfection, traditional wood-fired deliciousness. I opted for the classic Margherita and the hub went for a Suprema accompanied with a large and tasty Mediterranean salad. Bub Stylista chose the spaghetti bolognese with Mamma Criniti’s homemade meatballs from the Kids menu. A sizeable portion that the hub had no problem helping him with!

I must say the staff went above and beyond with Bub Stylista! He can be a handful at restaurants, acting up and getting under everyone’s feet. They were very patient with him and paid him lots of attention which is what every birthday boy wants!

He was beside himself went the desserts came out with sparklers in and the staff sang him Happy Birthday in Italian of course! We chose the nutella waffles and sticky date pudding. Divine.

All in all we had an amazing time, the food was excellent and the staff were great. I don’t think Princess Stylista was impressed. She slept through the whole thing and when she did wake up her brother tried to eat her head off.

Seriously though, I would highly recommend Criniti’s for a family meal.  We’ll definitely be heading back!

Thanks Criniti’s Woolloomooloo and Sweaty Betty PR
