My Style: Next Printed Playsuit

How was your Valentine’s Day? Do you celebrate it? The hub and I try to do something every year but this year we had another baby on board so we decided on a family lunch followed by Max Brenner! Happy days – well for Bub Stylista anyway!

We managed to get out for an early romantic meal the following night so all good.

For our family Valentine’s Day lunch I wore a Next printed playsuit. I really struggle with playsuits! They are either too short or too low at the front. This flirty number is just perfect!

The shorts are just the right length for me to feel comfortable and there is a button fastening at the front of the top so I’m not revealing too much and it’s also great for breastfeeding. Plus it’s got pockets! Who doesn’t love a pocket right?

I wore it with a pair of Kurt Geiger pumps (old) but it would look great with sandals or pointed flats. It’s so versatile! You can wear it casually for daytime chic or dress it up at night with a pair of heels, a statement clutch and some chunky bracelets.

Check out how I would style it below:

  • Too cute – I was just saying to the kids yesterday I used to have the sweetest blue and white stripe playsuit (shorts and tie shoulders); they had no idea what I was taking about because it is as about as far removed from my current wardrobe as you could get. I also find it hard to get the fit right (I have the same problem with one piece swimmers too~) look gorgeous and I am glad you got a chance to go out – somewhere nice (hmm Max Brenner is yummy).x

You look cute in that playsuit! Like jumpsuits, I usually have issues with where the waist of the playsuit starts. I’ve got a short torso so, it ends up looking weird. You though, you rock that jumpsuit!

  • Andrea says:

Oh how gorgeous! It was made for you! x
