My Style: MBFWA 2015 Day 4

My Style: MBFWA 2015 Day 4

Final day of Fashion Week and I was completely exhausted! I honestly couldn’t be bothered to wear something over-the-top and extravagant so I stuck to my go-to silhouette. The shift dress!

I have a rectangle body shape so this style is perfect for me because the straight line of my body is a natural match for straight and shapeless silhouettes.

I chose a Next number I spotted at their Spring/Summer 2015 Preview. This crepe detail dress features a v-neck and organza detailing on the shoulders. It also has pockets which is always an added bonus!

Next is my go to store for chic, easy to wear dresses at great prices. Case in point, this dress cost a mere $60! FYI I’m getting the white too (Shop it here).

I paired it with a pair of high heeled strappy sandals also from Next! Aren’t they divine? I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of lace-ups and these are so stylish and surprisingly comfy. I was happy to wear them all day! (Shop them here)

Back to Fashion Week…I watched New Generation, The Raffles Showcase and one of my faves Betty Tran! I also caught up with my friends, designers Leonardo Salinas and Suzan Mutesi.

I grabbed an interview with stylist and fellow British expat Fleur Egan from The Morning Show and The Daily Edition. We bonded over our mutual cravings for Marks & Spencer sandwiches. Good times!

To be  honest though, I was glad when the final show was over! What after-party? No thanks! I was so excited to get home, cuddle my babies and put on my sloppiest, daggiest outfit and Uggs. Bliss!

A special thanks to the man behind the lens! My photographer/videographer Jerome Lafforgue who worked liked a trooper through Fashion Week! He took some amazing pics/footage and is so much fun to work with! Thanks J! We make a great team!

Until next year Fashion Week..
