My Spring Racing Style via Boohoo

boohoofeatured

I was recently set a style challenge by Boohoo to put together a spring racing outfit for under $120. Did I manage it?

Here’s what I chose:

The Dress: Sarah Frill Bandeau Midi Dress $30

I love a bandeau dress and the flirty frill detail on this hot bodycon number adds to the glam factor. The midi length is just perfect for my height and the colour ensures I’ll stand out on in the crowd!

The Bag: Boutique Libby Sequin Clutch $50

I was going to stay within my budget and opt for the Boutique Isla Glitter Ombre clutch but as soon as I saw the Libby I had to have it.

Embellished with silver beads and gold sequins, it sets off the yellow perfectly and it can be worn as a clutch or a shoulder bag. It would also look great with a casual denim outfit.

I’ll definitely get a lot of wear out of it in the future hence the purchase.

The Headpiece: Marina Diamante Cat Ears $8

I stuck with the metallic accessories and opted for diamante cat ears. I’ve always wanted a pair!

I sported a very serious piece of millinery recently so I wanted something fun. Also my hair is an accessory in itself so I needed something simple to offset it!

The Shoes: Caggie Metallic Skinny Two Part Heels $44

Everyone needs a pair of gold heels in their wardrobe. they literally go with everything. I love the sexy skinny straps and they compliment my outfit perfectly. They are surprisingly easy to walk in too!

So there we have it. I almost made it! I broke my budget by $12 with the bag but $120 is definitely do-able for a whole outfit at Boohoo.

I’ve been shopping more and more at Boohoo (see here, here and here)! I’ve even got the husband in on the act!

It’s our go-to store for fun, affordable on-trend fashion and with free shipping over $40 what’s not to love?

Have you shopped at Boohoo?
