As you know I am an avid online shopping and I am always on the hunt for bargains, deals and discounts. Full price is not in my vocabulary.
Today I’m sharing my online shopping tips to save money.
Online Shopping Tips to Save Money
1. Discount Websites
They have amazing new deals every day with up to 80% off. I get email alerts so I can keep up to date. It’s good to get in quick because stock is limited and sizes sell out fast.
For upmarket discount shopping check out The Outnet. The sister website to Net a Porter has all the designer brands under one roof. You can shop clothing, bags, accessories ans shoes at discounted prices.
Make sure you sign up to their emails to get alerts for their clearance flash sales, all stock is discounted further for a limited time. I have been known to go a bit crazy during these sales so maybe it’s time to unsubscribe!
2. Sale Alerts
I am addicted to sale alerts! Some websites offer great sale alerts on items.
I have just heard about Fashion Lane, shoppers can find the best fashion sales from 150 online fashion stores. Instead of visiting every fashion store and going through their sales individually.
Fashion Lane lists all the sales and sorts them by highest discount. Brands include The Iconic, David Jones, Oroton and Little Joe Woman and my UK faves Oasis, Marks & Spencer, River Island, Boohoo and ASOS.
Products are monitored for daily price drops then items are sorted by discount so shoppers can easily find the best discounted product. Happy days!
You can check the price history too, Fashion Lane lets you know the full price, the price 4 days ago and the discounted price that day so you know exactly how much you are saving. You can also get price alerts! This is a bargain hunters paradise and definitely one to bookmark!
Missy Confidential offers a wealth of online shopping tips to save money. It is the guide to designer sales, warehouse sales, retail clearance events, online sales & pop-up shops around Australia. Missy Confidential also gives exclusive offers and invitations on related events and products. If bargains is your thing Missy will ensure that you never miss a sale in Oz!
I’m also signed up to LoveSales for all my UK shopping. Choose your favourite brands and they let
you know the instant they go on sale! This is great for when I’m going to London so I can plan my trip around the Selfridges, Next and Zara sales. I’m not even joking!
You can also add products from any site to your LoveSales watchlist and they will alert you when they drop in price. Due to our opposing seasons it’s great to shop the UK summer sales in Winter and vice versa. I shopped up a storm in London last July and wore all my goodies when I got back to Australia.
If you want a designer bag but you can’t afford the price tag why not try a little prelove?
After some disasters on Ebay I’ve found some great authenticated websites for designer preloved goodies. Make sure you check out The RealReal, based in the USA it offers the largest selection of pre-owned and authenticated luxury items including men’s and women’s luxury fashion, fine jewellery & watches and fine art.
The RealReal sells pieces from designers such as Chanel, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton; jewelry and watches from Cartier, Rolex, and Van Cleef & Arpels;
Vestiare Collective is like eBay with authentication, all items are curated and quality checked by a team of experts. Based in Europe it stocks the most coveted and hard to find items with over 3000 products added everyday. Brands include Chanel, Miu Miu, Isabel Marant and Celine. Those Valentino Rock Studs could finally be yours!
Fashionphile is another great preloved website for luxury handbags. All items are 100% authentic so you can shop safely. But the best thing is once you get bored of your bag Fashionphile will buy it back off you. Genuis!
4. Voucher Codes
There are various websites that offer voucher codes and deals like Finder.com.au. You can browse through the fashion retailers they have on their site and see what coupon codes are available, then click through and enjoy the savings on your order.
There we have it ladies! I hope you liked my online shopping tips to save you money. Just call me the enabler!
