All Aboard the Sun Princess with Princess Cruises Australia

It’s not every day  that you get invited to go on a behind the scenes immersion day aboard a cruise ship, especially one as fabulous as the Princess Cruises ‘Sun Princess’. So of course I accepted!

A handful of bloggers were provided with a specially tailored experience, exploring the very best the ship has to offer. From sampling Curtis Stone’s tasty cuisine to enjoying state-of-the-art pampering and relaxation facilities.

It was definitely a day to remember!

I have been on a cruise ship before for a fashion show but it wasn’t as majestic and grandeur as the Sun Princess.

To be honest, I am not really a cruise fan. For one thing, I’m not the best swimmer and lets not forget the Titanic right? Also I would be petrified that one of the kids would fall overboard.

I did express my concerns to a bemused member of the Princess Cruises team who ensured me that it’s completely safe. Still I’m not 100% sold but if cruise ships is your thing then the Sun Princess is the best way to go!

The SHARE experience

Warm Bread Pudding

Tarte Au Citron

My opinion did get swayed a bit though after the chocolate body wrap I had in the spa! It was absolutely amazing, my skin was so soft afterwards and it smelt of chocolate! Win, win.

I fought the urge to eat myself and ate Curtis Stone’s amazing food instead. The SHARE by Curtis Stone restaurant on board Sun Princess offers the first local taste of internationally-known chef Curtis Stone’s cuisine.

SHARE offers a range of fresh and seasonal signature dishes that will be sure to tantalise your tastebuds. FYI the bread and butter pudding was INSANE!

The SHARE menu and restaurant have been designed to encourage diners to connect with each other and share holiday memories over a delicious meal.  Which is exactly what we did! It was a wonderful experience shared with some lovely bloggers.

I had to be rolled off the ship at the end of the day and to be honest I didn’t want to get off. It was just so relaxing, which is what a cruise is all about right?

Now where do I sign up?
